Deniz Karaca’s undeniable passion for Caramel Tart has been created 45 different times by Karaca before it was ever displayed on MasterChef and your chance to taste the masterpiece for yourself is this Friday and Saturday at Popstic in Federation Square Melbourne. Karaca’s tart was named the ‘Number One Tart in Australia’ by three patisserie world champions and was also one of the four items that allowed Karaca to be named Australian Patissier of the Year in 2016 so this is an opportunity you do not want to miss out on!

“The secret is the delicious combination of banana, passionfruit, and caramel with just the tiniest hint of lavender,” says Karaca. “However the hardest step is creating the three different kinds of caramel that must all work in harmony for the recipe to be successful.”

You will, without a doubt, be in food heaven while at Popstic this Friday and Saturday as you will also be able to get your hands on specially matched pink Moscato Sorbet to pair with Karaca’s Caramel Tart. And if you want to take home an entire tart you can for only $60 or a smaller version for $15.
